Academic Excellence from Early Childhood through High SchoolAs an accredited private Christian school, Anchor offers a rigorous academic program for students in Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle School, and High School. Our curriculum emphasizes excellence in the Arts, Design, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics), Athletics, Leadership, and World Languages (including Chinese).
Recognized by the National Lutheran School Accreditation (NLSA), our students’ achievements are portable both in the United States and internationally, preparing them for future success. Anchor students consistently score above state and national averages on NWEA MAP, PSAT, and SAT while thriving in a well-rounded program of extracurriculars.
Technology and Innovation in LearningTechnology plays a central role in our classrooms. With a 1-to-1 device initiative in Grades 1–12, students use Chromebooks and iPads daily, including instruction on how to leverage artificial intelligence (AI) responsibly to support learning. In recent years, Anchor has expanded and upgraded facilities to meet community needs, including a Black Box Theatre, Design Shop, Science Lab, and a High School-size gymnasium.
Athletics, Arts, and EnrichmentAnchor also shines in athletics and the arts. Students compete successfully in regional leagues across volleyball, soccer, basketball, cross country, archery, and track and field. Our school also enriches the Anchorage community with theater productions, choral performances, and fine arts showcases.
